Operational Modes
• Constant Speed Mode: The pump runs at a
constant speed that you set, based on your
aquarium’s specific needs.
• Reef Crest Mode: Simulate the high-energy
conditions of a natural reef crest environment.
• Lagoon Mode: Simulate a calmer, lagoon
reef environment.
• Feed Mode: When any one pump is entered
into feed mode, all pumps slow down for 10
minutes to allow you to feed your aquarium.
• Optional Battery Backup: Keeps the
circulation going during power failure for up to
30 hours.
Additional modes for MP40w
• Pulse Mode: In a multi-pump setup, the
Slave pumps will automatically sync with your
Master pump to provide pulsing flow
throughout the aquarium.
• Sync and Anti-sync Slave Modes: In a multi-
pump setup, Slave pumps will operate
inverse (anti-sync) to the Master pump to
create tidal currents within your aquarium.
